About

Ttuor is a short, top-down action game with a gravity glove and some floaty boots.

Controls

Arrow keys - move the player

Z - After you get the glove item, press and hold to pull crates and items towards you. Then use the arrow keys to reposition a crate before putting it down.

X - After you get the boots item, press to float. Press again to land. Then use the arrow keys to adjust the direction of your slide.

Goals

There are seven levels. Each level has an exit staircase that you should try to reach, but it will be blocked by crates or electric beams. Try to clear all the levels, collecting all seven of the green gems along the way. And keep an eye out for the elusive eighth gem…

Development

This was my first original Pico-8 project. I worked on it on-and-off for the better part of a year as a way to get a little bit better at making Pico-8 games.

Okay, I gotta know -- why is it called "Ttuor"?

haha thank you for asking! Because the game started life with some vague gravity-simulating mechanic, I thought of the four forces (electromagnetic, strong, weak, gravity... let's ignore electroweak unification). So I took gravity as the fourth one, and looked up different ways to say "four" in other languages. Latin turned out to be "quattuor", so I figured if I cut that in half and made it "ttuor" it'd make the title easy to google!
